课程简介
近年来教育学界广为推崇的跨学科思维正是抢占未来先机的重要能力。越早培养学生横跨学科的思维、文理兼容的思维能力和自由切换视角的能力，对孩子未来的学习和发展就越有利。
多年来我们将众多理科学生送入了诸如NIH实习等顶级暑期项目和麻省理工等顶级大学。从历年成功案例和申请过程中我们发现，很多学生虽然通过学课竞赛等活动展现了出色的专业水平，但在升学作文不知如何以跨学科视角思考和剖析科技进步对人类社会带来的深层次影响，以及其与人类文明的互动关系，未能展现出作为创新世代人才的前瞻视野和广阔胸襟。
人文学科注重培养交流共情、求知创造、思辨写作和解决问题的综合能力；理工科注重科学方法、技术理论、逻辑思维和专业精神。我们的课程旨在培养学生们跨学科思维的方法和视角，融合文理学科的特点，使学生们能够娴熟地运用文字和科技同行及大众沟通，深度思考并清晰阐述ChatGTP时代科技发展与人类社会的多维度关系，在写作中通过充满人文关怀的文字展现科学技术的独特魅力，通过对专业知识的阐述展现深厚的人文素养，并将这种技能应用于未来的各项工作中。
每周会有1-3小时阅读和写作练习；学有余力的同学可完成选做作业。
Mr. Kemick老师：获奖诗人、记者、小说家。他的新书《I Am Herod》带领读者深入幕后、揭开全球最宏大的宗教事件之一的真相。他还出版过诗集《Caribou Run》。Mr. Kemick老师从事诗歌、纪实文学和小说三体创作，还在英加两国出版过不同的文选。获奖众多，包括两届国家优秀杂志文学奖。Mr. Kemick老师现在是卡尔加里大学庞巴迪学者、英语文学/创意写作在读博士。

Dr. Prusko老师现任教于阿尔伯塔大学英语文学和电影系，开设文学、写作和传媒各类人文课程。教书育人逾二十载，屡获文学院颁发的“杰出教学奖”殊荣。Dr. Prusko教学和科研齐头并进，专研莎士比亚、近代戏剧和儿童文学，频发著作。
